A little sign

Elizabeth is doing a little sign language these days! Yea!!! "More" is the most frequent sign - as she has a bottomless pit for a stomach and really loves her veggies! It's very, very exciting to see her learning something that I've been attempting to teach her for some time!

Easter

I cannot believe crappy cold weather we had to endure at Easter! Blech!





With all of the snow on the ground, the egg hunt (for Caylin & Isaac) was inside. Elizabeth didn't color eggs this year...maybe this weekend with Rikki due to come in...

Elizabeth was all set to be the cutest little one-year-old ever in her dress (with the matching dress for a teddy bear.) She still was, but she wasn't such the fan of the cardigan sweater.

Anne's Shower

All went very well for Anne's shower, aside from a couple of coffee pots not working properly. Aunt Calla & Lori were able to save the remains of the coffee without anyone knowing what had happened.

Anne & Sean got a ton of stuff. She opened gifts for nearly 1-1/2 hours.

Anne looks smashingly cute preggers! Lori & I were in matching sweaters - not planned! (We did match the base color on the invitations, though!)

It snowed quite a bit while the shower was wrapping up - ended up with a couple of inches by morning! Amazing! And I don't mean amazing in a good way...I mean it more in the holy crapoly, why is it snowing on Easter weekend sort of amazing!

I'm sure Sweetness is glad this shower business is over and done with! Now I don't have an excuse for our dining room to look like a hurricane went through it!

Had a great Easter with the Mortons, as expected. It's always fun to be with family!

Anne's shower went very well! She got so many things - opened gifts for nearly 1-1/2 hours! Lots and lots of stuff for my little nephew - and their small NYC apartment! I think my reputation as a hostess will remain in good standing, at least until the next shin-dig. It really was all about me, wasn't it?

Now I'm back to thinking creatively for work projects...and Reid's work-related projects...and the Morton Family Cookbook...

I'll need to post some pictures from Anne's shower soon...as soon as I can get them downloaded from my fabulous camera (thankyouverymuch, Sweetness!) Plus, I'll need to get the pictures from Easter up here and out to family!

Aunt Rikki & Show Doug are coming in this weekend. Yea! They will be so amazed to see how much E has grown since Christmas. Looking forward to the upcoming visit...

Huggins it is

I couldn't manage to write at all during the Beilein trauma. I was so worked up. Nervous. Neurotic. (Back off, it's my story and I'm sticking to it!)

So, Huggins it is for WVU. He can recruit. Everyone knows that. He can coach. Let's hope he does it with respectable players and runs a program we can all get behind.
